Welding
Our sodium silicates and sodium-lithium silicate mixtures are used as a binder and a fluxing agent in welding rods.
Welding rods consist of a variety of mineral and metal powders bound together with sodium or potassium silicate. Specialised electrodes, for example for stainless steel, use complex mixed silicate systems containing sodium, potassium and even lithium.
A dedicated team of technical experts is at your service to prepare your tailor-made silicate welding mixtures in our well equipped mixing division. We dispose of vessels of different sizes and are able to prepare batches ranging form 1.000 towards 25.000 L.
