TiO2-coating
TiO2 is used as a pigment because of its white colour. Our sodium silicate is used in TiO2-coating to prevent the whiteness of these pigment to fade under the influence of the environmental conditions.
Anti-corrosion
Our lithium silicates possess very good film forming and binding properties and are used in zinc-rich paints and top coat formulations for protecting metal surfaces from corrosion.
Passive-fire protection
Some of our sodium- and lithium silicate grades can be incorporated into your coatings and paints to increase the heat- and fire-resistance of your product.
